Shoulder pad is very comfortable. It was recommended to me to put 4 frozen water bottles in the corners and keep 4 other frozen water bottles in the freezer to swap in the cube. It works great.
The machine works great. Applies coldness to my knee within minutes of turning the machine on, last a long time. Highly recommend it.
We used the Polar Care Cube with the knee pad for my daughter’s ACL Reconstruction. It was very helpful. We used 4 frozen water bottles and then fill with water. This will help you not run out of ice for the cube. I would recommend freezing at least 12 bottles of water ahead of time so you are prepared to switch out the bottles and rotate out when you need. The hardest part was not having enough bottles frozen ready to rotate out. My daughter wanted to use more often than I was able to keep solid bottles completely frozen. After the first night, we were set with plenty of frozen water bottles to keep a good rotation going. It was a great form of comfort for her to use after physical therapy as well. Expensive, but convenient.

I really love this machine. It's absolutely a game changer. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. However, I really wish there was a way to clean the tubing out after each use. Maybe adding a clip so that it can be hung in such a way that the water could be completely drained. I went ahead and gave it 5 stars though because it is really amazing and I am so thankful to have it.
I love how easy it is to use. It has helped with the swelling. It’s very portable. I am very pleased.
Booklet inside box said to seek physicians approval if you have high blood pressure and/or afib, both of which I have! Had I know this, I would not have bought the most expensive unit you have.
The Breg Polar Care Wave is a great product! In several previous surgeries, I've used the Gameready machines, but this time I wanted to own instead of rent, and Gameready is simply too expensive for my budget. This Breg unit has compression in addition to ice, so at literally 1/10th the cost, I took a chance on it. I have been very satisfied, it works great! The main differences between this and the Gameready is no digital control for temperature and no timer. I opted to solve both by using less ice and just let it run. Aside from that, the performance is every bit as good. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing ice with compression. In addition, shout out to the staff at Total Recovery! They are extremely helpful (thank you Bob!), courteous and genuinely care about their customers. Thank you guys SO much!!!
I paid for the machine it took 8 days after surgery for me to get it. There was no re compensation, no phone call to let me know what was going on. I truly suffered for a week without this machine. I feel like when I paid for it you should of told me you didn't have my size
Overall an excellent machine and value. Very fast and responsive sales team. Unit's functions are very good and easy. Unit and wrap outstanding at transferring cold to applied area without endangering skin. Recommend without reservation for post-knee surgery. I kept the unit with top off with water in the fridge overnight to keep water cold and reduce ice need (top will drip, however, so keep a bag or dish handy to lay the top unit on.) Found that 1 qt water-filled frozen plastic bags in rotation did the job.
Recommendations to Breg: 1. include padding for the connecting socket for knee wrap which sits uncomfortably directly on shin, an issue when knee is elevated. (my solution: lay small towel between shin and connector) 2. more flow coverage behind the knee would be helpful (my solution: rotate wrap 90 degrees or so at some point during the session.) 3. a timer. (solution: obvious). LOL.
Again, recommend without reservation.
Tube is coming out of wrong end of pad. Instructions have the tubes coming out of elbow end. Very very cumbersome.
This really helps reduce the pain by keeping the knee and surrounding area cold. It is easy to use and easy to refill. The water feed line is about 5' in length, more than enough to reach from the bed or recliner to the floor unit. It is also very quiet, so you can wear it all night without a loud motor keeping you awake. We also got the portable knee wrap with 4 gel packs to take in the car for appointments where electric isn't practical. Highly recommend the Breg products, and the people at TotalRecovery.com who answered every question we had no matter how small.

Cube works great...simple, quiet and gets cold fast. WAY better than ice packs
Pretty easy to use, but, the unit does not get as cold as I thought it would.
Husband had shoulder replacement surgery... He has very little pain. Thanks to this wonderful device!
